Motor Screening Task (MOT)

In addition to being a user-friendly way of introducing CANTAB tests to the participant, the Motor Screening Task provides a general assessment of whether sensorimotor deficits or lack of comprehension, will limit the collection of valid data from the participant.

Recommended for studies where an initial test of sensorimotor skills would be useful.

Task format

Coloured crosses are presented in different locations on the screen, one at a time. The participant must select the cross on the screen as quickly and accurately as possible.

Outcome measures

Outcome measures assess the participant's speed of response and the accuracy of pointing (selecting the cross).
