Social & Emotional Cognition

Social cognition remains a growing field of research focused on understanding how we process affective information. Our social cognition tests assess the ability to respond to emotion-laden stimuli.

Social cognition can be divided into the subdomains of:

• Emotion recognition – the ability to identify emotions in facial expressions
• Emotional bias – the ability to process information biases for positive/negative stimuli
