Senior Scientific Director Professor Pradeep Nathan will be presenting a poster at the International Conference on Alzheimer’s & Parkinson’s Diseases in Nice, France from the 18th-22nd March.
The data helps to better characterise cognitive decline in PD and identify patients that could be targeted early in the illness to improve cognition. Cognitive changes in Parkinson’s disease (PD) are complex due to regional differences in brain changes, medication dose and stage of illness and there is a lack of longitudinal data. This makes it challenging to develop drugs for cognition in PD, particularly early in the illness.
The poster being presented at ADPD 2015 looks at cognitive decline in Parkinson’s disease over 5 years in collaboration with the Cambridgeshire Parkinson's Incidence from GP to Neurologist (CamPaIGN) study.
If you are attending ADPD 2015 or have an interest in Parkinson's disease research please join Pradeep on the 18th March to find out more.
