2022 CANTAB Research Grant winners announced

It has been another highly competitive year for our CANTABTM Research Grant, with the large number of high-quality applications making picking just three winners a challenge for our judging panel! Here we reveal the winning grants.

The winners each receive a CANTABTM Connect Research Licence with 150 CANTABTM assessments alongside funding to support the costs of the study and access to expert support from our science team.

We are pleased to announce the winners of the 2022 CANTABTM Research Grant:

Primary award (£1000)

Nana Aba Senuwah Ashon, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology – Relationship between dietary carotenoid intake, cognition and visual function among selected schools in Ghana.

Secondary awards (£250)

Amy Tiberio, Curtin University – Examining the relationship between BDNF and Parkinson’s Disease

Peter Mukli, University of Oklahoma Health Science Center – Assessment of chemotherapy-related cognitive impairment (CRCI).
