CANTAB Research Grant 2019 - Results

The results of the 2019 CANTAB Research Grant are in! Once again we were overwhelmed by the quality of applications we received – which made it a tough job for our judging panel to narrow the research proposals down.

However, we could only pick three winning applications... and this year we have chosen the following entrants as our 2019 CANTAB Research Grant Award winners.

The 2019 CANTAB Research Grant winning entries

Primary Award

Dr Jacqueline Pettersen at the University of British Columbia, Canada - The Vita-Dkcog Study: A randomized Placebo-Controlled Trial Assessing the Effects of Vitamins D and K2 on Cognition

Secondary Awards

Laiana Azevedo Quagliato at the Institute of Psychiatry, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - From the bench to the clinical trial: the role of inflammatory markers on cognitive dysfunction of depression and anxiety

Lynette Mackenzie at the University of Sydney, Australia - Cognition, cancer survivorship and work

We are really looking forward to seeing the results of these projects and working with all applicants in the future.

We’d also like to thank everyone who entered, for their interest in CANTAB. We really appreciate the time and effort involved in submitting your application. We wish you well in your research and invite you to keep an eye on our website and social media channels to be the first to learn about the launch of the CANTAB Research Grant for 2020.

In the meantime, please take a look at our Research Funding and Grant Application Guide for advice on funding applications.
