App Developer / Computer Scientist
With a first degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Andy first became interested in Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) working on operator and engineer’s screens for industrial control systems in the metal rolling and gas industries.
He later went on to complete an MSc in Human-Centred Computing Systems at the University of Sussex, specialising in real-world cognition and technology enhanced learning environments.
Having contributed to a number of projects from neutron choppers to solar telescopes, Andy has now joined Cambridge Cognition on a collaborative project with the University of Bristol. He is confident that research and practice into effective technology based learning can be used to facilitated change in patients suffering from conditions such as anxiety and depression.
